Job summary

Glossier is seeking a Senior Manager, Packaging Development to lead packaging across color cosmetics, skincare, sets, and fragrance. You will translate concepts into manufacturable components, drive feasibility and testing, and partner with Product Development, Creative, Marketing, and Supply Chain to ensure packaging quality and cost objectives.

Leverage strong engineering knowledge to guide suppliers and contract manufacturers, deliver scalable packaging solutions, and push for sustainability

Qualifications

• 7+ years in packaging development or packaging engineering, with prestige beauty experience.
• Experience translating concepts into manufacturable packaging solutions.
• Strong ability to manage multiple complex packaging programs end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Own packaging development from concept through launch across color cosmetics, skincare, sets, and fragrance.
• Translate creative direction into packaging solutions balancing experience, quality, cost, and sustainability.
• Lead feasibility assessments, test planning, and supplier collaboration for packaging programs.
• Oversee specs, drawings, and approvals with suppliers and contract manufacturers.
• Drive risk assessments, FMEA, and testing across development, scale-up, and production.
• Improve workflows, maintain BOMs and change control, and monitor packaging innovations.
