Job summary

Glossier, Inc. seeks a Senior Manager, Packaging Development to lead packaging across color cosmetics, skincare, sets and fragrance.

You will translate creative concepts into manufacturable components and manage packaging from concept to launch. Collaborating with Product Development, Creative, Marketing, Supply Chain, Sourcing and Quality, you’ll guide suppliers and contract manufacturers, drive feasibility, testing, and cost optimization with 7+ years in prestige-packaging.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in packaging development or packaging engineering.
• Experience across color cosmetics, skincare, fragrance packaging.
• Ability to lead complex packaging programs end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Own packaging development from concept to launch across assigned products.
• Translate creative direction into packaging solutions balancing customer experience, quality, cost, and sustainability.
• Lead technical feasibility assessments, evaluating materials and tooling.
• Establish packaging specifications and guide suppliers through development and approval.
• Lead packaging risk assessments (FMEA) with cross-functional teams.
• Evaluate test results and resolve packaging issues through development and production.
• Oversee artwork, color standards, and range-board approvals.
