Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a Senior Physician Assistant for Urgent Care/Emergency in Folsom, CA. This onsite role offers diverse shifts, including evenings and weekends, with travel up to 50%. Salary ranges from $175,200 to $264,800 per year.

You will evaluate patients, perform exams, order diagnostics, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care. Required qualifications include 3+ years as a PA, ED/urgent care experience, ARC-PA accredited PA program,

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Physician Assistant within the last 5 years.
• Extensive Emergency Department and/or Urgent Care experience.
• Graduate of an ARC-PA accredited Physician Assistant program.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients, take medical histories, and perform physical examinations.
• Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, ECGs, and other diagnostic studies.
• Diagnose and treat patients and develop appropriate care plans.
• Perform procedures such as suturing, wound care, injections, and other department-specific procedures.
• Document patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress in the medical record.
• Provide patient and family education regarding treatment and follow-up care.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges when required.
• Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Participate in quality improvement and clinical initiatives.
• Mentor and support less experienced Physician Assistants.
• Work evenings, weekends, or other schedules based on department needs.
