The Employee Connect is seeking a Senior Physician Assistant for its urgent care and emergency services in the Sacramento area. This Direct-Hire role supports a physician-led team delivering high-volume care with emphasis on patient safety and quality.

The ideal candidate is an experienced PA with CA license and NCCPA certification, skilled in ED/urgent care procedures, and comfortable with varied onsite schedules in Roseville and Folsom facilities. Competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Current NCCPA certification.
• Active California Physician Assistant license, or eligible before start.
• Current DEA registration, BLS, and ACLS certifications.
• Experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or acute care.
• Flexibility to work rotating schedules including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with acute illnesses and injuries.
• Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and diagnostic studies.
• Perform procedures such as laceration repair, splinting, and incision and drainage.
• Develop treatment plans and prescribe medications within scope of practice.
• Coordinate with physicians and specialists for escalation and admissions.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, and follow-up care.
• Document visits accurately and promptly in the electronic health record.

Location: Sacramento, CA area (worksite in Roseville and Folsom, CA)

Shift/Schedule: Full-time, onsite, various schedules including days, evenings, and weekends

Pay/Compensation: $175,200 – $264,800 per year
