Job summary

AVASearchGroup is seeking a Senior Physician Assistant to join our Emergency Medicine and Urgent Care teams in the Roseville/Folsom area of California. This senior-level role offers autonomy, collaboration with physicians, and exposure to fast-paced urgent care and ED settings.

You will evaluate and manage emergency presentations under physician supervision, perform department procedures, and mentor developing PAs. California PA license and current PA-C, DEA, NPI, and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• California PA license required at hire.
• DEA, PA-C certification, NPI, and BLS required.
• 3+ years of PA experience within the last 5 years.
• Extensive Emergency Department and/or Urgent Care experience.
• Competency performing department-specific procedures as required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage Urgent Care and Emergency patients.
• Deliver efficient, patient-focused care under physician supervision.
• Perform department-specific procedures based on demonstrated competency.
• Collaborate closely with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams.
