Job summary

The Employee Connect is seeking a Senior Physician Assistant for its urgent care and emergency services in the Sacramento area. This Direct-Hire role supports a physician-led team delivering high-volume care with emphasis on patient safety and quality.

The ideal candidate is an experienced PA with CA license and NCCPA certification, skilled in ED/urgent care procedures, and comfortable with varied onsite schedules in Roseville and Folsom facilities. Competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
Current NCCPA certification.
Active California Physician Assistant license, or eligible before start.
Current DEA registration, BLS, and ACLS certifications.
Experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or acute care.
Flexibility to work rotating schedules including weekends.

Responsibilities

Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with acute illnesses and injuries.
Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and diagnostic studies.
Perform procedures such as laceration repair, splinting, and incision and drainage.
Develop treatment plans and prescribe medications within scope of practice.
Coordinate with physicians and specialists for escalation and admissions.
Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, and follow-up care.
Document visits accurately and promptly in the electronic health record.
