POWERX is a leading engineering and protection company delivering testing, commissioning, and field services for substations and power systems across North America.

The P&C Senior Test Engineer role centers on independent testing, commissioning, and validation of protection schemes in transmission, distribution, and generation substations, with leadership development toward project ownership.

Formación

• 2+ years in high-voltage protection & control testing/commissioning.
• Experience commissioning substations 12.5kV–765kV preferred.
• Knowledge of NEC/OSHA/NER CIP preferences is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Independently execute relay protection testing using listed platforms.
• Test and validate protection elements (line, transformer, bus, feeder, etc.).
• Perform CT/PT testing including ratio, polarity, phasing, saturation, grounding checks.
