Job summary

AEP is seeking an Engineer Senior (Grade 8) specialized in Protection & Control standards to review and enhance PCE standard designs and maintain the standards portfolio. This on-site role in New Albany OH focuses on ensuring station equipment and circuit designs comply with established PCE standards.

The position emphasizes supporting automation tools, providing technical guidance to P&C Production and TFS teams, and developing SS guides and PCE documentation to promote high-quality design

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited program (or engineering technology with PE license).
• 2+ years of related engineering experience for Engineer, or 4+ years for Sr level.
• Experience with P&C design standards and documentation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and support Protection & Control (P&C) designs against PCE standards.
• Develop and maintain PCE standards and SS guides.
• Support automation tools to improve efficiency and consistency in design delivery.
• Provide technical guidance to P&C Production and TFS teams.
