Job summary

Acrisure Underwriting is seeking an actuary to join our modern tech platform. This is not a back-office role; you will build pricing models, develop analytics, and tell data-driven stories to carrier partners and reinsurers.

You will collaborate daily with underwriters, software and data engineers, and reinsurance brokers to shape pricing strategies, inform product design, and drive smarter business decisions.

Qualifications

• FCAS or ACAS credential with approximately 5–10 years of P&C pricing experience.
• Strong pricing, indications, and data analysis track record.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for modeling and automation.
• Advanced Excel to complement coding toolkit.
• Excellent communicator who distills analyses into business insights.
• Self-starter in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• Tech-focused mindset to modernize actuarial workflows.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain actuarial pricing models and report indications.
• Refine pricing methodologies to improve profitability and competitiveness.
• Use Python and SQL to automate processes and extract insights.
• Work with large datasets to identify trends and opportunities.
• Collaborate with underwriters, program teams and brokers to translate analyses.
• Create dashboards and presentations for internal and reinsurer audiences.
• Identify efficiency gains across the actuarial workflow.
