Job summary

Acrisure Underwriting seeks an actuary to build pricing models, refine methodologies, and leverage analytics to shape pricing strategies for P&C products. You will partner with underwriters, software and data engineers, and reinsurers to translate complex analyses into actionable business recommendations.

This role requires FCAS/ACAS credentials and 5–10 years of pricing experience, strong Python/SQL skills, advanced Excel, and a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• FCAS/ACAS credential with ~5-10 years of P&C pricing experience.
• Solid track record in actuarial pricing, indications, and data analysis.
• Hands-on proficiency in Python and SQL for modeling and automation.
• Advanced Excel skills to complement your coding toolkit.
• Excellent communicator—skilled at distilling complex analyses into clear business insights.
• Self-starter comfortable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibilities

• Pricing & Indications: Build and maintain pricing models; prepare indication reports.
• Methodology Enhancement: Refine pricing methodologies to improve profitability.
• Analytics & Automation: Use Python/SQL to streamline processes and extract insights.
• Data Exploration: Work with large datasets to identify trends and opportunities.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Align with underwriters, claims, program teams, and reinsurers.
• Reporting & Visualization: Create dashboards/presentations for stakeholders.
