Job summary

Acrisure Underwriting in the United States seeks an FCAS/ACAS actuary with 5–10 years of P&C pricing experience to join a modern tech platform. You will build pricing models, refine methodologies, and tell data-driven stories to carriers and reinsurers.

You will partner with underwriters, program managers, software and data engineers, and reinsurance brokers to drive pricing actions, identify opportunities, and improve profitability. On-site collaboration in New York is expected.

Qualifications

• FCAS/ACAS credential with ~5-10 years of P&C pricing experience.
• Hands-on proficiency in Python and SQL for modeling and automation.
• Advanced Excel skills to complement your coding toolkit.
• Excellent communicator—distilling complex analyses into business insights.

Responsibilities

• Pricing & Indications: Build and maintain actuarial pricing models; prepare and present indication reports.
• Methodology Enhancement: Refine pricing methodologies to improve profitability and competitiveness.
• Analytics & Automation: Leverage Python, SQL, and advanced Excel to streamline processes.
• Data Exploration: Work with large datasets to identify trends and opportunities.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Translate analyses into business recommendations with underwriters and brokers.
• Reporting & Visualization: Create dashboards and presentations for stakeholders and reinsurers.
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement efficiency gains across actuarial workflows.
