Job summary

Acrisure is seeking an actuary with FCAS/ACAS credentials and 5–10 years of P&C pricing experience to join our Underwriting team on-site in Connecticut. The role focuses on building pricing models, refining methodologies, and delivering data-driven insights to carrier partners and reinsurers.

You will collaborate with underwriters, program managers, software and data engineers to shape pricing strategies, automate tasks, and present actionable reports.

Qualifications

• FCAS/ACAS credential with ~5-10 years of P&C pricing experience.
• Solid track record in actuarial pricing, indications, and data analysis.
• Hands-on proficiency in Python and SQL for modeling and automation.
• Advanced Excel skills to complement your coding toolkit.
• Excellent communicator—distilling complex analyses into clear business insights.
• Self-starter comfortable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• Technology-driven mindset with a passion for modernizing actuarial workflows.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain actuarial pricing models and indication reports.
• Refine pricing methodologies to improve profitability and competitiveness.
• Leverage Python, SQL and advanced Excel to streamline processes and extract insights.
• Work with large datasets to identify trends, exposures and opportunities.
• Collaborate with underwriters, claims, program teams, and reinsurers to translate analyses into business recommendations.
• Create dashboards and presentations to tell our data-driven stories to stakeholders.
• Identify and implement efficiency gains across the actuarial workflow.
