Job summary

Acrisure Re in New York seeks a Vice President, Actuarial to lead the reinsurance and risk-transfer pricing for property, casualty and specialty lines. You will guide analytics strategy, manage actuarial staff, and service a diverse client base including traditional carriers, MGAs,Insurtechs, and captives.

You will develop pricing analyses, dynamic models, and present complex results to brokers and clients while advancing enterprise initiatives and best practices within Acrisure Re.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics or related STEM field.
• FCAS or near-FCAS designation with active progression toward FCAS preferred.
• Active Continuing Education commitments as part of professional development.
• Proficiency with pricing and reserving methodologies for various lines (property, casualty, specialty, cyber).
• Experience with capital models and catastrophe models (RMS, AIR, KatRisk).

Responsibilities

• Perform and review pricing analyses for proportional, excess of loss, and structured reinsurance deals.
• Develop and review dynamic stochastic models and conduct reinsurance analyses.
• Communicate results and complex actuarial concepts to clients, brokers, and reinsurers.
• Support brokers in submissions, pricing, structuring, and placement of reinsurance.
• Collaborate with clients and respond to technical queries with data and trends.
