Job summary

Acrisure is seeking an accomplished actuary to help shape pricing strategies and product design on a modern actuarial platform. You will collaborate with underwriters, software and data engineers, and reinsurers to build analytics-driven pricing actions and compelling data stories.

With a focus on real business impact, you’ll drive model refinement, explore large datasets, and present insights to internal stakeholders and carrier partners. This on-site role is grounded in NYC-area operations.

Qualifications

• FCAS/ACAS credential with ~5-10 years of P&C pricing experience.
• Strong track record in actuarial pricing, indications, and data analysis.
• Hands-on Python and SQL for modeling and automation.
• Advanced Excel skills to complement coding tools.
• Excellent communicator who distills analyses into business insights.
• Self-starter in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• Technology-driven mindset to modernize actuarial workflows.

Responsibilities

• Pricing & indications: Build and maintain actuarial pricing models; prepare and present indication reports.
• Methodology enhancement: Refine pricing methodologies to improve profitability and competitiveness.
• Analytics & automation: Leverage Python, SQL, and advanced Excel to streamline tasks and derive insights.
• Data exploration: Analyze large datasets for trends, exposures, and opportunities.
• Cross-functional collaboration: Work with underwriters, claims, program teams, and reinsurers.
• Reporting & visualization: Create dashboards and presentations to tell data-driven stories.
• Process improvement: Identify and implement efficiency gains across actuarial workflows.
