Job summary

RMS Energy in South Carolina is seeking a P&C Lead Field Technician to oversee field testing and maintenance of substations across the Southeast. This senior position requires extensive expertise in protection & control systems, ensuring safe and high-quality performance in high-voltage environments.

You will coordinate testing activities, support junior staff, and ensure all processes comply with operational safety standards while traveling extensively.

Qualifications

• Must have 10+ years of experience in commissioning and P&C testing.
• Must be skilled in wiring diagrams and protection schemes.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel up to 70%.

Responsibilities

• Perform field testing and maintenance on substation equipment.
• Commission new substations and conduct performance checks.
• Support junior field personnel and ensure safety compliance.
