Job summary

RMS Energy Co, LLC is seeking a Lead P&C Field Technician to oversee relay construction and testing in a utility setting. This field-based role focuses on quality, safety, and project execution rather than hands-on testing.

You will coordinate with engineers, PMs, and contractors to ensure reliable substation operation and robust protection schemes. Qualified candidates bring 10+ years in commissioning and protection testing, 5+ years leading field teams, and strong SCADA/P&C experience.

Qualifications

• Experience leading field execution and mentoring technicians.
• Proficient in reading schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Strong EH&S discipline and field QA practices.

Responsibilities

• Monitor contractor work for safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Oversee project scope, schedule, and construction progress.
• Perform EH&S audits and ensure safe work practices.
• Plan and execute testing activities on schedule and safely.
• Oversee substation testing and relaying system upgrades.
