Zusammenfassung

Jacobs is seeking a P&C Engineer – Transmission to join our team and lead protection and control studies for transmission and substation projects. You will collaborate with regional and global teams on proposals, design and issue resolution for utilities and renewable developers.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in protection and control, proficiency in ASPEN OneLiner and PSS CAPE, and travels within North America. A strong teamwork mindset and communication skills are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 7 years of direct experience with protection and control projects.
• Experience with protection studies software such as ASPEN OneLiner and PSS CAPE.
• Knowledge of IEC, IEEE and CIGRE standards.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical skills and results orientation.
• Team player with excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation abilities.
• Ability and willingness to travel within North America.

Aufgaben

• Lead or support protection and control studies from planning to detailed design.
• Perform protection coordination, PT/CT sizing and relay coordination analyses.
• Work with protection relaying functions (line, transformer, breaker failure, cap bank, etc.).
• Ensure compliance with IEEE, IEC and CIGRE standards.
• Utilize ASPEN OneLiner, PSS CAPE or similar tools; collaborate globally.
• Deliver projects on time and within budget; coordinate with North America and global teams.
