The role requires a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, 7+ years of relevant experience, and strong knowledge of IEEE/IEC/CIGRE standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Minimum 7 years of direct protection & control experience.
• Experience with ASPEN OneLiner and PSS CAPE.
• Knowledge of IEC, IEEE, CIGRE standards.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel within North America.

Responsibilities

• Lead protection & control studies from concept to detail design.
• Perform protection coordination and fault studies.
• Develop protection philosophy and design basis documents.
• Utilize ASPEN OneLiner, PSS CAPE, PSCAD, or similar tools.
• Collaborate with North American and global teams.
