Job summary

McKissack & McKissack is seeking a Program Executive, PM/CM to lead owner’s representative services in the DC region, with travel to project sites across DC, Maryland, and Virginia. You will oversee vertical construction programs and drive performance across cost, schedule, quality, safety, and stakeholders.

You will manage an integrated delivery team, coordinate with designers, contractors, and authorities, and report to owners on project status, risks, and budget trends while supporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field (CM, engineering, architecture, PM).
• 15+ years of progressive PM/CM experience on large vertical construction projects.
• Experience managing projects in the DMV area.
• Experience with multiple delivery methods (CM Agency, CM at-Risk, design-build, etc.).
• Strong command of project controls, cost management, CPM scheduling, procurement support.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive oversight for PM/CM engagements across the DC Region.
• Represent owner's interests in planning, design coordination, preconstruction, construction, closeout, and warranty phases.
• Oversee general contractors, construction managers, designers, consultants, and vendors per contract requirements and goals.
• Lead client-facing reporting on project status, risks, budget trends, schedule performance, procurement issues, and actions.
• Guide preconstruction activities including constructability review, design coordination, phasing, logistics, and bid reviews.
• Monitor project budgets, forecasts, change orders, pay apps, contingencies, and funding impacts with early escalation.
