Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Sr. Construction Manager within Global Engineering Services (GES) NA Design & Construction to act as the senior owner's representative, delivering autonomous end-to-end construction for complex facilities across the logistics network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of project management experience spanning design through handover.
• Experience negotiating construction, procurement, and labor contracts.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and BIM; scheduling software (Primavera, MS Project, or similar).
• Travel up to 60% nationwide as per job requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end project management for complex construction initiatives (new builds, retrofits, expansions).
• Serve as Amazon's senior owner's representative, aligning design, construction, and stakeholders.
• Develop project strategies and allocate resources to execute them.
• Monitor KPIs for safety, quality, cost, and schedule; manage escalations and corrective actions.
• Lead contract procurement and external partner negotiations.
• Mentor and develop other construction managers within the organization.
