Qualus Corporation invites a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Commercial & Industrial team in West Virginia to design complex power systems, upgrade relays, and lead life-extension projects powering communities and critical infrastructure.

You will mentor engineers, provide technical leadership across all project phases from concept to commissioning, and collaborate with clients to deliver safe, reliable solutions. This on-site role offers growth within a diverse portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in electrical engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• PE License required.
• 5+ years design engineering experience on primary power distribution and P&C schemes.
• Experience developing relay protective setpoints and settings files.
• Working knowledge of NEC/NFPA 70, ANSI C57, ANSI C37, and NESC.
• 5 years AutoCAD experience.
• 5 years using ETAP, SKM, or EasyPower.
• Strong communication and the ability to discuss technical recommendations with customers.

Responsabilités

• Medium and low voltage electrical design for substations and EPC projects.
• Specification development for electrical equipment.
• Develop/update client drawings including one lines, wiring diagrams, and schematics with CAD.
• Reviews field data and performs short circuit and arc flash studies.
• Review power monitoring data to provide customer recommendations.
• Leads collaboration with sales and operations/engineering for project hand-offs.
• Up to 10% travel for training and site visits.
