Job summary

Qualus is seeking a Senior Field Service Technician to power future initiatives through testing, maintenance, and repair of low to medium voltage equipment in the field and shop. The role combines hands-on technical work with leadership tasks to ensure smooth project execution.

You will lead crews on field testing/maintenance, document site activities, and support estimates and safety training while collaborating with project managers and operations teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' related experience in power plants and industrial services.
• Minimum 5 years of industrial or commercial power systems experience.
• Ability to work outdoors and indoors on field assignments.
• Effective communication in English (reading and writing).
• Strong interpersonal skills and business acumen.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Provide technical capabilities for testing relays, circuit breakers, transformers, motor control equipment, and related switchgear in the field.
• Lead field crew for testing/maintenance/repair of breakers, transformers, switchgear, motor control and associated equipment.
• Ensure proper preparation and documentation for site projects.
• Help evaluate department talent base, identify training needs, and recommend actions.
• Identify and secure equipment needs for shop/field and provide site summaries.
