Job summary

HPM is seeking a Senior Project Manager to provide project management for client accounts and tenant improvement consulting services. The role involves coordinating with client teams, property/facility management, and PM staff, with travel up to 20%.

The ideal candidate has extensive Owner-side construction experience, budgeting expertise, and proficiency with scheduling tools. Strong leadership and communication are essential for managing budgets, reports, and project delivery across phases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in interior design or architecture or related field.
• 15+ years of experience with significant owner-side exposure.
• Advanced budgeting, accounting and procurement knowledge for managing construction projects.
• Proficiency in MS Office and scheduling software such as Suretrak, Project, P6, Procore, Revit, VICO or equivalent.
• LEED AP or CCM preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Establish profitability goals and control internal costs to ensure profitability.
• Manage and administer Owner contracts and identify/manage risks daily.
• Prepare and coordinate project reports and drawing reviews across all phases.
• Participate in marketing efforts and pursue new business opportunities.
• Oversee project budgets, cost control, and reporting.
• Chair meetings and maintain master project schedules and timelines.
• Oversee change management processes and evaluate change orders.
• Contribute to marketing/presentation of services to clients.
• Review requisitions, change orders and invoices; advise the owner.
• Oversee project closeout and timely submittals and documentation.
• Develop cost estimates and supervise staff; submit monthly status reports.
