ExecuPOWER is seeking a Senior Distribution Designer to lead the design of overhead electric distribution projects for utility clients. You will develop complete design packages, perform QA/QC reviews, and mentor junior designers to deliver safe, reliable, and cost‑effective solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in electric distribution design with overhead focus.
• Experience supporting pole replacement programs.
• QA/QC reviews of distribution design packages.
• Knowledge of NESC and utility specifications.

Responsibilities

• Develop design packages for overhead distribution projects including upgrades and pole replacement programs.
• Perform field investigations to collect engineering data for overhead line design.
• Prepare construction drawings, staking sheets, BOMs, and documentation using AutoCAD, MicroStation, GIS.
• Review designs and ensure accuracy before client submission; mentor junior designers.
• Coordinate with engineers, PMs, field teams, construction crews, and clients throughout the project lifecycle.
