Job summary

Haskell is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer specializing in distribution design to lead overhead and underground projects and mentor a team of engineers and CAD technicians. You will ensure safety, reliability, and high‑quality deliverables across urban, rural, and industrial environments.

You will develop design packages, perform critical calculations, and coordinate with project managers and clients while ensuring compliance with NESC/NEC/RUS codes and ROW processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering and 8+ years in electrical distribution design for OH/UG.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of electrical distribution projects (OH/UG/URD).
• Develop construction work packages using industry tools (AutoCAD, DDS, GIS, SAP, MicroStation, PoleForeman, SpidaCalc, O‑Calc).
• Perform engineering calculations (pole loading, voltage drop, conductor sizing, protection coordination).
• Conduct field assessments and verify conditions at sites.
• Mentor engineers, designers and CAD technicians to ensure quality deliverables.
