Job summary

gpac seeks an experienced overhead crane technician with strong electrical and mechanical skills to join an expanding inspection and repair service team. Relocation assistance provided.

You will inspect, maintain, troubleshoot and repair overhead cranes, wire rope and chain hoists, and install crane electrification systems. A 3+ year track record, OSHA/ANSI/CMAA knowledge, and a clean driving record are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of crane and hoist repair experience including VFD, radio control, and collision avoidance systems.
• Knowledge of OSHA, ANSI, and CMAA crane codes.
• Must have a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot and repair overhead cranes, wire rope and chain hoists.
• Install and repair crane electrification systems (Figure 8, Cable Reel and Festoon).
• Document findings and recommend repair solutions.
