Job summary

Elite Workforce LLC is seeking an experienced Overhead Crane Mechanic to inspect, troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and install overhead crane systems and related material handling equipment. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills and work safely in industrial environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience repairing and maintaining overhead cranes, hoists, or industrial equipment.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills with knowledge of 24VDC, 120VAC, 240VAC, 480VAC systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to work at heights and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair overhead cranes, hoists and related equipment.
• Diagnose electrical components including motors, drives, relays, contactors, and control panels.
• Read schematics, blueprints, and service manuals to perform repairs.
• Install and commission new crane systems and upgrades.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and complete service reports.
• Perform load testing and safety inspections per standards.
• Communicate repair status and recommendations to supervisors and customers.
• Participate in emergency breakdowns and after-hours service calls.
