Job summary

Konecranes is seeking an Industrial Technician/Overhead Crane Service Technician to perform on-site inspections, maintenance, and repairs of electric overhead cranes at customer facilities across the United States.

The role requires electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills, willingness to work at heights, and the ability to travel for customer projects. A high school diploma is required with advanced training or an associate degree preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Associate degree in Industrial Electrical and/or Mechanical Technology preferred or equivalent training.
• Minimum one year electrical troubleshooting and mechanical repair experience.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair electric overhead traveling cranes and hoists at customer sites.
• Provide on-call service as part of a rotation, including after-hours support.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, structural, and electronic issues on-site.
• Complete service reports and document findings with customer signatures.
• Stay current on OSHA, ANSI, CMAA, and HMI safety regulations.
