Job summary

Konecranes in the United States is seeking an Industrial Technician to service overhead cranes, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, and work at customer sites with safety as priority. You will join a field team that travels to sites, performs inspections, repairs, and post-repair audits, and documents findings for customers.

A high school diploma is required; an associate degree is preferred; driving license, ability to climb, lift up to 100 lbs, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate degree preferred or equivalent vocational training.
• Minimum one year experience involving electrical troubleshooting and mechanical repair.
• Willingness to work off the ground and travel; valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair electric overhead cranes and hoists at customer sites.
• Provide on-call service as part of a rotation, including after-hours support.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on-site and ensure safety features.
• Document findings, recommend corrective actions, and report to customers.
• Coordinate with customers on repair and safety improvements.
