Job summary

Konecranes in the United States seeks an Industrial Technician to service overhead cranes and hoists at customer sites. You will troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs, and work with customers to ensure safety and reliability.

The role requires a high school diploma and at least one year of electrical troubleshooting and mechanical repair experience, plus willingness to travel and lift up to 100 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; related technical training preferred.
• 1+ year electrical troubleshooting and mechanical repair experience.
• Prior crane experience is a plus but not required.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair electric overhead traveling cranes and hoists at customer sites.
• Provide on-call service as part of a rotation, including after-hours support.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, structural, and electronic issues on-site.
• Document findings and recommend corrective actions, including safety notifications to customers.
• Stay updated on industry codes and regulations (OSHA, ANSI, CMAA, HMI).
• Operate tools, equipment, and vehicles; report deficiencies to supervision.
