Job summary

Konecranes is seeking an Industrial Technician to service overhead cranes and hoists at customer sites across the United States. You will troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, perform inspections, and ensure safety features are working properly.

The role requires ability to work at heights, travel, and operate in a safety-first environment, with on-call responsibilities and after-hours support as needed.

Qualifications

• Educational requirements: High School Diploma; Associate degree preferred or related vocational/technical training and experience.
• Minimum 1 year of electrical troubleshooting and mechanical repair experience; cranes experience is a bonus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair electric overhead traveling cranes and hoists at customer locations.
• Provide on-call service as part of rotation, including after-hours support.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, structural, and electronic issues on-site.
• Perform post-repair audits to verify safety features.
• Document findings and communicate corrective actions to customers.
