Job summary

Konecranes is seeking an experienced Industrial Technician to inspect, maintain, and repair electric overhead cranes and hoists at customer sites across the United States. You will diagnose electrical, mechanical, structural, and electronic issues, provide on-call support, and document repairs with safety-focused actions.

The role requires at least a high school diploma (associate degree preferred) and a minimum of one year in electrical troubleshooting and mechanical repair.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience in electrical troubleshooting and mechanical repair.
• Some electronic experience is helpful but not required.
• Prior crane experience is a benefit but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections, maintenance, and repairs on electric overhead traveling cranes and hoists at customer locations.
• Provide on-call service as part of a rotation, including after-hours support.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, structural, and electronic issues on-site.
• Perform post-repair audits to ensure safety features are functional.
• Document findings and recommend corrective actions, including safety notifications to customers.
