Job summary

Rugby Architectural Building Products is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to grow business across the Southern California (Lower Desert Area) territory. This role emphasizes customer service, sales growth, and effective territory management within the building materials sector.

You will call on existing customers and prospect new ones, coordinating with branch and inside sales to optimize product mix and drive revenue.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years sales experience, ideally outside/territory sales in construction/building materials.
• Knowledge of millwork or related products is a plus.
• Willingness to travel within the territory and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Sell Rugby products to current customers in the Southern California region with a focus on customer service.
• Grow sales by calling on new customers throughout the territory.
• Communicate customer needs to branch teams to optimize product mix and future sales.
• Coordinate with inside sales to ensure a synchronized sales effort and lead growth.
• accompany vendors’ reps to other accounts as needed.
