Job summary

Central States Industrial (CSI) is seeking a Business Development Leader in Springfield, MO to grow market share for hygienic process equipment. You will target processors and OEMs in Southwest Missouri and NW Arkansas and develop long-term relationships across customer segments.

You’ll lead prospecting, promote CSI products (spare parts, valves, plate heat exchangers, pump repair, fabrication) and advance CSI’s store usage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in industrial technology or engineering preferred.
• Equipment sales experience in food and/or pharmaceutical industries.
• Exposure to estimating, design and application of process equipment.
• Experience with sales management.
• Proficiency in computer OS and MS Office Suite.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to customer locations.
• Valid passport.

Responsibilities

• Target processors and OEMs in the assigned geography.
• Generate year-over-year growth in distributed products and services.
• Speak to CSI’s sales strategy and value proposition.
• Promote CSI eCommerce usage and store improvements.
• Lead proactive calls, follow-ups, and relationship building.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support regional strategy.
