CSI is seeking a Business Development Leader to drive outside sales growth across hygienic process equipment in Southern California, with a focus on food, dairy, beverage, pharma, OEMs, and fabricators.
You will prospect, develop long-term relationships, and work with CSI teams to expand parts, service, and core fabrication product lines, aiming for year-over-year market share growth.
The Business Development Leader position is a dynamic, high-energy outside sales representative, responsible for growing new and existing accounts which use hygienic fluid handling components and equipment. This role will perform daily sales prospecting behaviors as agreed upon with sales leadership with the goal of developing and maintaining long-term business relationships across all customer segments. The BDL leverages CSI’s personnel, capabilities, and selling system to successfully achieve sales goals.

Standard workday is 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. More than 40 hours per week will normally be required to achieve the productivity necessary for this position. Overnight travel, Saturday, Sunday and holiday hours will be required. Travel via plane or vehicle may also be required.
This position requires the ability to interact with employees and customers verbally and in writing, remain in a stationary position for 80% of the workday, have close visual acuity, and constantly operate a computer and other office productivity equipment, such as a phone, copy/fax/scan machine, computer keyboard and mouse with or without reasonable accommodation. This position also requires the ability to occasionally lift, stoop, bend, and lift product, materials, and supplies, up to 30 pounds.
