Job summary

Central States Industrial (CSI) is seeking a Business Development Leader for the Springfield MO region. This remote role focuses on growing new and existing accounts across hygienic fluid handling components and equipment in Southwest Missouri and NW Arkansas.

You will drive sales across pumps, valves, heat exchangers, instrumentation, tanks, spare parts, and related services. Travel to customer sites is required, with a goal of year-over-year growth in product lines and services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in industrial technology or engineering.
• Experience in equipment sales in food and/or pharmaceutical industries.
• Exposure to estimating, design and application of process equipment.
• Experience with sales management.
• Proficient with computer OS and MS Office.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel.
• Clean driving record; valid passport.

Responsibilities

• Target processors and OEMs in hygienic industries within the assigned geography.
• Generate year-over-year growth in distributed products and service categories.
• Promote CSI eCommerce usage and improve the store.
• Proactive calls and lead follow-up to promote CSI products and develop relationships.
• Provide leadership to support team members and maintain accountability in CSI sales functions.
• Build relationships between CSI and customer companies.
