Job summary

CSI is seeking a Business Development Leader to drive outside sales growth across hygienic process equipment in Southern California, with a focus on food, dairy, beverage, pharma, OEMs, and fabricators.

You will prospect, develop long-term relationships, and work with CSI teams to expand parts, service, and core fabrication product lines, aiming for year-over-year market share growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in an engineering/industrial tech field or related preferred.
• Experience selling equipment to food/pharma industries.
• Exposure to estimating, design and application of process equipment.
• Experience with sales management responsibilities.
• Proficiency with MS Office suite.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Must be able to travel to customer locations.
• Valid passport required for travel.

Responsibilities

• Target Processors and OEMs in hygienic industries within the assigned geography.
• Generate year-over-year growth in distributed products and services.
• Articulate CSI's value proposition and identify industry market shifts.
• Promote CSI eCommerce usage and store improvements.
• Conduct proactive outreach and timely follow-ups to build relationships.
• Lead with accountability and support team members professionally.
• Build relationships between CSI personnel and customer contacts.
• Provide intelligence to Sales Manager-West to inform regional strategy.
