Job summary

Central States Industrial (CSI) is seeking a high-energy Business Development Leader to drive growth for hygienic process equipment in the Southern California region. The role emphasizes developing long-term relationships, expanding market share, and leveraging CSI’s product lines, service opportunities, and eCommerce store to meet sales goals.

The position requires travel, strong relationship-building, and leadership to support CSI’s sales strategy and regional growth targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred in industrial technology or engineering
• Equipment sales experience in food and/or pharmaceutical industries
• Exposure to estimating design and application of process equipment
• Experience with sales management
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite
• Valid Driver's License
• Ability to travel to customer locations
• Valid Passport

Responsibilities

• Target Processors and OEMs in hygienic industries within the assigned geography.
• Generate year-over-year growth in distributed products and service categories.
• Promote CSI eCommerce usage and opportunities to improve the store.
• Maintain proactive calls and swift lead follow-up to develop relationships.
• Lead and support CSI sales functions with accountability and professional conduct.
