Job summary

Veolia North America is seeking an Outbound Manager to lead outbound waste operations, ensuring compliant, efficient shipping and disposal of treated waste. The role requires strong leadership and a deep understanding of environmental regulations.

The manager will coordinate with plant management, optimize production; guide the team, implement safety protocols, and drive continuous improvement across waste processing, inbound strategies, and cost management.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive environmental/hazardous waste management experience in operations.
• Understanding of waste profiling and tracking related to outbound load creation (EPA codes).
• Experience with RCRA and DOT regulations as they relate to transportation and processing of waste.

Responsibilities

• Oversee outbound operations and staffing to meet daily production goals.
• Review outbound waste streams and determine appropriate disposal methods.
• Coordinate with Plant management to ensure safe, proper handling of all outbound waste.
• Provide cost-management insights and participate in weekly/monthly production reviews.
• Lead, coach, and develop team while ensuring regulatory compliance.
