Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Sr. Platform Engineer to design, implement, and manage OT systems and IT technologies for Manufacturing and Quality operations.

You will work with Kepware, WinSPC, SQL databases, and Aveva PI Historian, programming PLCs and HMIs, and pulling data from machinery. You will partner with Operations, Manufacturing, and Quality Engineering to deliver solutions, configure OT architecture, and support MES and Historian systems while evolving Industry 4.0 strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Management Systems, Computer Science, or Business Administration with an emphasis in technology.
• 8+ years of IT experience relevant to manufacturing operations.
• Understanding of Manufacturing, Quality, and Industry 4.0.
• Self-managed, proactive, with ability to handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Operations, Manufacturing, and Quality Engineering to translate business needs into OT/IT solutions.
• Plan configuration of digital OT architecture and influence data strategy as technology evolves.
• Implement and support MES and Historian systems.
• Stay current with IT advancements and recommend relevant technologies.
• Resolve problems with OT data flow and applications and improve data quality.
• Create dashboards and data views to show real-time information for stakeholders.
• Travel up to 15% for collaboration and project work.
