Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Senior MES Developer to design, modernize, and integrate MES solutions using C#/.NET in a primarily remote role.

You will bridge IT and OT, connect MES with SAP/Oracle ERP, SCADA, PLCs, and WMS, and lead initiatives across the project lifecycle.

Strong background in SQL Server/Oracle, OPC, REST/SOAP, and CI/CD, plus mentoring, documentation, and ensuring high availability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• Advanced English (required).
• Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and modernize MES applications using C# and .NET technologies.
• Migrate and enhance legacy VB.NET and ASP applications into modern .NET frameworks.
• Build integration layers connecting MES platforms with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle), SCADA systems, PLCs, and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Develop solutions that interact with machine controls, OPC servers, and shop-floor equipment for real-time manufacturing data collection.
• Design, optimize, and maintain complex SQL Server and Oracle database solutions, including stored procedures, triggers, and reporting services.
• Provide technical leadership, perform code reviews, and mentor development teams on best practices and software engineering standards.
• Create technical documentation, specifications, and architecture designs for MES initiatives.
• Support production-critical systems, ensuring high availability and minimizing manufacturing downtime.
