Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed as an Occupational Therapist in the state.
• Must maintain license in good standing.
• Experience supervising COTA, aides and students.
• Proficient with Casamba and Point Click Care.
• Ability to read and comprehend policy and procedure manuals.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients within 24 hours of physician referral.
• Develop effective treatment plans and obtain physician approval.
• Treat patients per the physician treatment plan.
• Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants, aides and students.
• Record evaluations and daily/weekly progress notes.
• Participate in care conferences and rehabilitation meetings.
• Discharge planning and caregiver training for discharge.
• Recommend durable medical equipment as needed.
• Provide in-services and training for staff.
