Qualifications

• Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license required.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for helping others reach their goals.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or post-acute care is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Implementing individualized treatment plans.
• Assisting residents with therapeutic activities and exercises.
• Teaching adaptive techniques for daily living skills.
• Monitoring resident progress and documenting outcomes.
• Collaborating with therapy, nursing, and interdisciplinary teams.
