Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to lead secure OT/ICS infrastructure initiatives.

You will own the solution lifecycle from bidding and design through implementation, cybersecurity hardening, testing, commissioning, and customer handoff while coordinating with estimating, engineering, cybersecurity, network, controls, project management, vendors, and field teams. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 5+ years of progressive experience; or 8+ years with an Associate; or 10+ years with a high school diploma.
• Advanced hands-on experience with VMware vSphere/ESXi and/or Microsoft Hyper-V, Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, authentication, permissions, and secure configuration management.
• Experience with enterprise backup and recovery platforms and storage arrays including redundancy, replication, restore validation, capacity planning, and disaster recovery.
• Knowledge of STIG implementation, Windows patching, vulnerability remediation, endpoint protection, and RMF or comparable cybersecurity processes.
• Strong customer-facing communication and technical leadership; ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and vendors.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint; CompTIA Security+ or CASP+/CISSP is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Owns the solution lifecycle from bidding and design through implementation, cybersecurity hardening, testing, commissioning, documentation, and customer handoff.
• Coordinate with estimating, engineering, cybersecurity, network, controls, project management, vendors, field teams, and customers.
• Architect, deploy, configure, and administer VMware vSphere/ESXi and Microsoft Hyper-V environments with high availability.
• Design, build, secure, and maintain Windows Server platforms and core services (AD, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, PKI).
• Coordinate secure OT/ICS network implementation including segmentation, VLANs, routing, firewalls, remote access, and secure management paths.
• Lead system staging, integration, FAT/SAT, backup/restore testing, and commissioning; drive root-cause analysis and resolution.
• Produce SOPs, installation guides, test plans/reports, and final as-built packages; lead customer demonstrations and turnover.
