Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Senior OT Cybersecurity / ICs Security Architect for a part-time engagement (about 20 hours per week) to support a federal OT modernization program. The role bridges OT/ICS with enterprise IT cybersecurity, coordinating with customer stakeholders and a Peraton Labs delivery team.

You will help define requirements, survey the market, evaluate candidate products, and deliver defensible recommendations. Travel up to 25% domestically, with remote work from the United States.

Qualifications

US citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust/PIV credential.
8+ years of progressive systems architecture or cyber engineering experience.
Hands-on OT/ICS and enterprise IT security experience.

Responsibilities

Contribute to end-to-end requirements and SRS with traceability to NERC CIP, FISMA and ZTA.
Support market research for identity, monitoring, and vulnerability management products.
Draft RFIs, review vendor responses, and engage with vendors under guardrails.
Assess vendor capabilities and contribute to comparison reports and recommendations.
Co-author ASA documents and support executive briefings.
Bring federal hydropower/OT domain experience to align OT and IT security needs.
