Job summary

Peraton Labs is hiring a Senior OT Cybersecurity / ICT Security Architect for a part-time engagement bridging OT/ICS and enterprise IT cybersecurity to support a federal customer’s modernization program for critical infrastructure.

This 20-hour-per-week role focuses on defining requirements, surveying the market, evaluating candidate products, and delivering defensible procurement recommendations with stakeholders across engineering, operations, cybersecurity, and test & evaluation teams.

Responsibilities

• Elicit and validate requirements and help produce System Requirements Specifications with traceability to NERC CIP, FISMA, and CISA Zero Trust Architecture
• Identify candidate commercial products across identity and access controls, network monitoring, threat visibility, and inventory / configuration / vulnerability management
• Draft RFIs, review vendor responses, and engage with bidders under federal market-research guardrails
• Assess vendor responses and product capabilities against requirements; contribute to reports and down-select recommendations
• Contribute to lab test environment design and test plans; observe or participate in product demonstrations and evaluations
• Co-author Alternative Solutions Analysis documents and support steering-committee and executive briefings
• Bring federal hydropower-marketing / multi-regional transmission operator experience to cross-domain workshops
