Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Senior OT cybersecurity engineer to lead Tier 1 security workstreams across global projects. You will design, build, and test security solutions, then codify them into templates, scripts and training for regional teams.

You will drive automation using PowerShell and contribute to security documentation, tooling, and reference configurations, while traveling up to 40% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical, Electronics or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 8 years in industrial automation or the energy sector, including 5 years OT cybersecurity delivery on customer projects.
• Experience with IEC 62443, NERC CIP, NIS2, CRA, IEC 62351 and NIST.
• Hands-on skills in firewalls, OT network monitoring, secure remote access, AD, PKI, SIEM and hardening of field devices.

Responsibilities

• Lead Tier 1 cybersecurity workstreams end to end: requirements, security architecture, design, build, FAT/SAT, commissioning and handover.
• Produce security deliverables: security plan, risk assessments, hardening records and test procedures.
• Develop references and templates: architectures, baselines, checklists and scripts.
• Write and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate repeatable tasks and checks.
