Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a Staff Cyber Security Architect to ensure secure application and infrastructure architecture. You will support security reviews for cloud and on-premise systems, helping teams design secure-by-design solutions aligned to GE Vernova security requirements.

The role emphasizes practical cybersecurity, service excellence, and attention to AI security, including identity, data access, model integration, and runtime controls, with collaboration across security architecture teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, IT, CS, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• At least 4 years of enterprise IT and/or cybersecurity experience.
• At least 1 year in cybersecurity architecture, secure design, or security assessments.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and AI security considerations.

Responsibilities

• Support security architecture activities for AWS and Azure deployments.
• Participate in security reviews and risk assessments within enterprise architecture governance.
• Contribute to secure-by-design system architectures and security best practices.
• Draft risk assessment reports and provide practical security guidance across teams.
