Job summary

Merck & Co., Inc. seeks a Senior Specialist, Plant Automation, OT Infrastructure, Controls & Industrial Automation to support pilot plant and GMP manufacturing automation, including PLC, HMI, SCADA, DCS, DeltaV, MES, PI Historian, and OT cybersecurity.

Primary locations: Rahway, NJ or West Point, PA with support across sites. Responsibilities include optimizing IT/OT infrastructure, leading project scoping, partnering with scientists and engineers, and ensuring reliable, secure automation

Responsibilities

• Optimize IT/OT infrastructure for plant automation, process control, and industrial automation.
• Build, maintain, and support OT infrastructure for GMP manufacturing and pilot plant operations.
• Lead or support project scoping, technical requirements, IT infrastructure deliverables, commissioning readiness, estimates, and automation infrastructure solutions.
