Job summary

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in automation, engineering, computer science, or related field.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- 5 years’ experience in upstream manufacturing systems or pilot plant automation.
- 4 years’ hands-on with Rockwell/Allen-Bradley PLCs, HMI, SCADA, OT cybersecurity, MES, and IT/OT integration.
- 4 years’ knowledge of virtualization, Windows servers, and regulated computer systems.
Responsibilities
- Optimize IT/OT infrastructure for plant automation and process control.
- Build, maintain, and support OT infrastructure for GMP manufacturing and pilot operations.
- Lead or support scoping, technical requirements, and deliverables for automation projects.
- Collaborate with scientists, automation engineers, IT, infrastructure, and vendors to translate needs into specs.
- Contribute to solution architecture for plant automation, OT networks, SCADA, MES, and virtualization.
- Provide technical support, incident resolution, and root-cause analysis for automation systems.
- Map and maintain IT/OT service architecture diagrams including data flows and interfaces.
- Work with R&D to identify automation and data integration needs.
- Coordinate with vendors and system integrators to evaluate and implement technologies.
- Support investigations, diagnostics, and troubleshooting with cross-functional teams.
